IT Service Desk

IT Service Desk is the central support hub for the University of Houston-Downtown community, providing assistance with all technology-related needs—including software, hardware, telephones, user accounts, and access privileges.

Common IT Requests

The IT Service Desk assists with a wide range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Software installations and updates
  • Microsoft Office support
  • Email configuration and troubleshooting
  • Wireless connectivity issues
  • Printer toner or cartridge replacements
  • New printer or scanner setup
  • Computer and laptop setup or relocation
  • Telephone support
  • Virus or spyware reporting
  • Computer account access and password issues
