Dear UHD Faculty,
I hope this message finds you well.
As the new Director of the Accessible Education Center (AEC), one of my highest priorities
is ensuring that our students receive the support and accommodations they need to
succeed at UHD. Our team is actively reviewing and sending out student accommodation
letters for those students who have registered with our office.
As the department navigates a period of transition, some accommodation letters may
be delayed. I recognize that this may create challenges, particularly as many of you
have already finalized course materials and established plans for the semester. I
sincerely appreciate your patience and flexibility during this time.
In the meantime, if a student approaches you regarding an approved accommodation and
you have not yet received their accommodation letter, I encourage you to work with
the student as best as possible while our office completes the processing and distribution
of the formal documentation. We are committed to ensuring that all accommodation letters
are distributed as quickly as possible and anticipate completing this process within
the coming weeks.
