Get ready, Gators! September 23 marks UHD’s inaugural Gator Giving Day, a new tradition dedicated to celebrating the people, programs and opportunities that make our university great.
With the theme “Gator Greatness – PASS IT ON!”, the day is about more than giving. It’s an opportunity to share what makes UHD special, celebrate our collective impact, and inspire the next generation of Gators.
Mostly Online, All Gator
Gator Giving Day will take place primarily online, making it easy for the entire UHD community to participate. Throughout the day, on-campus events and activities will bring the celebration to life and give faculty, staff, and students opportunities to connect, celebrate, and show their Gator pride.
The campaign goal is 400 donors by 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 24. Every gift, regardless of size, helps us reach that goal and support UHD’s future.
How You Can Participate:
There are many ways to be part of Gator Giving Day. You can:
- Make a gift to support UHD and its students.
- Become a Gator Giving Day Ambassador and help spread the word.
- Share the campaign with friends, family, and your social networks. Your advocacy is often the most effective encouragement for them to participate!
- Attend on-campus events and help celebrate Gator Greatness.
Ambassadors will have access to sample social media content and shareable resources, making it easy to rally fellow Gators. And there will be opportunities to earn Gator Giving Day swag!
