Recent federal changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) have updated how applications are processed. As a result, FAFSA applications submitted after April 22, 2026, may experience delays. You can learn more online.

Submitting your FAFSA by the recommended date helps ensure:

• Timely processing of your application in time for the Fall 2026 term
• A complete and accurate financial aid review
• Fewer delays in receiving your financial aid offer

Can I Still Submit After April 22?
Yes, FAFSA applications will continue to be accepted after April 22, 2026. However, please be aware that:

• Processing times may be considerably longer
• Financial aid awards may be delayed
• Funding availability could be impacted
