Perla Ramiriez

Perla Ramirez is a Houston-based marketing professional and proud UHD alumna. She attended the University of Houston-Downtown from 2012–2016, earning a degree in Fine Arts with a minor in Drama and Arts Administration. During her time at UHD, Perla was heavily involved in the theater program and later interned in radio, where she discovered her passion for marketing and communications.
Over the past decade, Perla has built a career across several areas of marketing, including restaurant marketing with Salata and sweetgreen, field marketing with Bumble, and now field marketing with JD Sports. In her current role, she brings brands including Nike, Adidas, New Balance and Crocs to life through local events, community partnerships, talent collaborations and unique brand experiences across Houston and Dallas.
Outside of work, Perla is a mom and lives in Houston with her family. She loves that her career allows her to combine her creative background with her passion for bringing people together.
